THC-Free CBD and Drug Testing

CBD oil is different than marijuana since it’s derived from industrial hemp plants. But hemp may contain trace amounts of THC. Broad spectrum or CBD isolate options are a way that you can reap the benefits of CBD, without any THC present at all.

While it is highly unlikely that CBD products would cause you to fail a drug screening, it’s always best to stay on the safe side. Using THC free CBD oil is a great place to start, but it’s necessary for you to do your own research as well.

Drug screenings test for the presence of THC. Full spectrum hemp-derived CBD products should not contain more than 0.3% THC, which should not cause psychoactive effects or a failed drug test. But many products are mislabeled. Buying lab tested THC-free CBD oils is the best way to protect yourself.
